United Way Participates in Pitney Bowes 2004 Diversity
Festival
Youth Leadership Students with Denise Rawles-Smith of Pitney Bowes
Valley United Way and members of its
Youth Leadership Program
had a major presence at the Pitney Bowes 2004 Diversity Festival held at
their facility in Shelton. Pitney Bowes is recognized as a world leader in
Diversity, and has always been a major supporter of Valley United Way and its
own diversity efforts. Pitney Bowes has hosted the Diversity session of the
Leadership Greater Valley Program
for the last couple of years and highlighted their award winning diversity
practices as part of the training program.
In addition to hosting a booth featuring United Way and the Leadership Greater Valley Program, members of the Youth Leadership Program served as volunteers throughout the day focus their time and talents in coordinating many of the games for children which featured games from around the world.
