Valley United Way with the help of community sponsors are joining together to host this year’s premier riverside party. What better way to spend a fall afternoon than enjoying rays of sunshine aboard a pontoon boat cruising the Housatonic River, while listening to a DJ play 50-60’s music and enjoying an antique car show? Get ready and dress casual for "Cruzin’ on the Housy!"

Boats set sail Saturday, September 27^th between 2-6pm for 30 minute cruises from #36 Birchbank Road, Shelton. Tickets are $50 per person and include a cookout, beer, wine, boat rides, an antique car show and a DJ spinning the best of the oldies.

A wide range of sponsorships are available for businesses or individuals throughout the Valley. Newtown Savings Bank is the Marquis Sponsor, donating $1,000! These sponsorships provide funding to assist United Way in building a strong network of health and human service programs to benefit children, elderly, families and the working poor in our Valley community. They include signage on pontoon boats and tables, listings in Valley United Way and newspaper releases, as well as tickets to the event. Come join the fun!
