Perkin Elmer Captures First Championship

Newcomer Perkin Elmer has captured its first team title in only its second event with five straight wins including a win over Calvert Safe & Lock - Locks in the title game in the tournament held in the gym at the Y. Rob Palmiero and Jan Jurgielewicz toppled Plastic Molding Technology #3, Birmingham Group #2, Tele-Media # 3 and Griffin Hospital # 2 on their way to the title.

Calvert Safe & Lock had beaten United Way, Griffin Hospital Gals, Birmingham Group #1 and Rifkin Travel on their way to the title match against Perkin Elmer.

Rifkin Travel and Griffin Hospital # 2 finished tied for third in the 23 team field.
