Perkin Elmer Team Precision 1 - The winners!

Perkin Elmer's Team Precision 1 started strong and finished strong in winning the 2004 Community Corporate Cup Bowling Championship. The took a 42 pin lead after a first game score of 678 only to see Tele-Media #2 come storming back with a 744 second game score to take a three pin lead heading into the last game. Defending champion Gordon Rubber also made a strong move in the second game to come within 23 pins of Tele-Media heading into the last game.

Perkin Elmer was up to the challenge as they posted a game three best score of 664 to regain first place with Gordon Rubber slipping by Tele-Media #2 by two pins to capture second place.

The Griffin Powerball team climbed to fourth place with a 662 score for the last game topping fifth place TEAM "A' by 32 pins.

Perkin Elmer's winning team included Jan Jurgielewicz IV, Leon Mandrona Jr., Tony Cerrone and Jason Ranin. Cerrone's 548 triple and 215 single game scores paced the Perkin Elmer victory.

Tom Tobin of Tele-Media #2 was the day's top bowler as he had the day's single best game score of 225 and a high triple of 605 - the only player to break 600 for the day.
