Tele-Media Sweeps Billiards Event
Mike Mortensen, Ramiro Quinones, Bill Dunlop &
Corey Thomas
Tele-Media made the Billiards Tournament the Tele-Media
Invitational as they finished first, second and tied for fifth with
topped by Mike Mortensen and Ramiro Quinones' come from behind win over
Bill Dunlop and Corey Thomas in the finals. Dunlop and Thomas won the
first of the best-of-three game title round, but Mortensen and Quinones
came back with two straight to earn the championship.
Mortensen and Quinones had posted a semi-final win over
Fred Beermeunder and John Wilson of Spectrum Plastics while Dunlop and
Thomas took out John Towle and Ron Boucher of TEAM, Inc. in their
semi-final match.
Twenty-five teams competed in this year's event which
was hosted by Snooker's which provided a great atmosphere and
refreshments for the participants. Click here
