Members of the High School Volunteer Council were in fine tune for the holidays!

The members of the High School Volunteer Council made their annual trip to the United Methodist Homes in Shelton. The students started the tradition years ago, and they take time out of their busy schedules each year to share the season with the residents of United Methodist Homes by visiting and singing Christmas Carols and other seasonal favorites. This inter-generational event is a favorite for both the students and the residents!

The High School Volunteer Council is a very unique project of the Volunteer Action Center. The member schools include all of the public high schools in the Valley:

• Ansonia High School

• Derby High School

• Emmett O'Brien Regional Vocational Technical School

• Seymour High School

• Shelton High School
