Volunteers Saluted at Annual Event

The winners of Volunteer of the Year Awards posed after their presentations.

Valley United Way presented its 16th Annual Volunteer of the year Awards at a reception held at the Kellogg Environmental Center in Derby on May 1, 2007. Those in attendance heard incredible stories of dedication ranging from a student immigrant from the Ukraine to a 75 year Boy Scout partner! The common thread of the evening was that volunteers enjoy giving back to the community as much as the community values the service that they provide.
