Comcast got an early start on this year's Week of Caring by holding their own very special "Day of Caring" on Friday, September 7, 2007 at the Valley YMCA. An entire crew of Comcast employees from throughout the region painted many walls throughout the Y. The halls, racquetball courts and several rooms received a fresh coat of paint. Sue Reilly, YMCA Executive Director was extremely grateful for all of their hard work and generosity.
United Way was also pleased that another group of employees headed by Liz Kennard and her team in Seymour were also busy at work producing this year's Valley United Way campaign video which you can see by clicking here.
The following Comcast employees from all different Comcast locations volunteered at the Y. They include, Seymour – Daniel Cardoso, Dave Sharkey, Tom Rosario and Chris Ryan; New Haven –Jan Graham, Mike Parker, Cindy Zietek, Joan Gordon, Dori DuBay and Pat Manzi; George McDuff, Waterbury; Pat Manzi, Enfield; Bob Reardon, Branford and Ken Roderick.
