Ascom Delivers for United Way

Ascom Mailing Systems staged another successful campaign on behalf of Valley United Way as they held rallies at both their Canal Street and Forest Parkway facilities. Coffee and donuts were the mainstay of the rallies which featured speakers from several United Way supported agencies.

The campaign committee which coordinated the successful effort included Barbara Ransdall, Marlene Finkel, Louise Bruno, Karin Hope, Lou Alvarado, Rammy Avenia, Janice Wieczorkowski, Debbie Pascariello, Lisa Hunt and Lucille Benanto.

Mike Allocca, President & C.E.O. at Ascom took time out of his busy schedule to address the sessions on Forest Parkway. Mike serves on the board of directors at both the Valley United Way and the Boys & Girls Club, and he spoke about both groups from personal experience.

Besides conducting their annual campaign, Ascom is an active member of Valley United Way's Corporate Volunteer Council and recently participated in the Week of Caring project at the Ansonia Community Action Center.
