Griffin Hospital Expands Campaign Effort

Griffin Hospital's annual campaign on  behalf of Valley United Way raised more than 10% over its total for the previous campaign. Employee rallies were held over a two week period. Griffin C.E.O. Pat Charmel kicked off the campaign with a special Kickoff Bar-b-que. Though weather forced the event indoors, it didn't put a damper on the enthusiasm and support. 

Besides being a Pacesetter this year, Griffin was also be involved with the United Way Kickoff on September 27 at Pitney Bowes in Shelton. The new Mobile Health Resource Center was on public display for the first time, and the Valley's chief elected officials proclaimed October as pinkribbon.gif (1906 bytes) Valley Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
