OCI Chemical Follows the “Yellow Brick Road” to 100% Participation!OCI Chemical held their employee rallies on Friday, October 29th with a “Wizard of Oz” costume theme - complete with the yellow brick road! The employee committee worked hard into the evening decorating to ensure the next morning their conference room resembled The Land of Oz. The committee also committed themselves to the characters as seen in these pictures: Marie Johnson as Dorothy; Caroline Fain as the Lion; Joanne Bertanza the Tin Man; Lorraine Fairchild the Good Witch; and Maryanne Readon as the Scarecrow. All the preparation and fun “paved their yellow brick road” to guaranteed success. OCI is the first company to reach 100% participation by their 45 employees and report an increase of 34% in employee pledging from last year. Employees enjoyed a breakfast buffet catered by the Dogwood Café while presentations included ACT’s Executive Director, Lynette Jordan sharing case stories about the Spooner House, our local homeless shelter.
