The bag says it all! Pitney Bowes kicked off their 2006 Pitney Bowes Employee Involvement Campaign on Waterview Drive in Shelton, and the theme "We Care" rang through. Though the Pitney Bowes campaign beneift many different groups, Valley United Way has always benefited not only from the financial generosity of the Pitney Bowes community, but also from the time and talent that they bring to the community. They have been a cornerstone of Valley United Way's Corporate Volunteer Council since its inception, and Pitney Bowes employee Bill Bubbico is now the co-chair of the group. Pitney Bowes is a regular pariticpant in many United Way activiites and recently served as the site for a community forum on early childhood education issues co-sponsored by the Valley and Milford United Ways. Pitney Bowes has been a major supporter of the Born Learning campaign which is also a major focus of Valley United Way. Years ago, Pitney Bowes was nominated by Valley United Way for United Way of America's highest corporate award - the Spirit of America Award - which they went on to win at United Way of America's national convention.
