This year we have a few awards across the entire campaign spectrum that reflect the talent, effort and ingenuity that is so integral to successful campaigns.  These efforts are so innovative, they could be recognized every year.

MODEL CAMPAIGN AWARD
Sikorsky Aircraft

Sikorsky Aircraft ran a great campaign and also helped support a special high school graduation effort.

This award is given for community spirit and dedication.  Sikorsky runs an incredible campaign raising more than $1 million for multiple United Way and is one of the largest contributors to our United Way.
 

OUTSTANDING CAMPAIGN TEAM AWARD
The United Illuminating Company

MOST CREATIVE AWARD
Iroquois Gas Transmission System, L.P.

When it comes to consistency and creativity, no one does it better than this group.  They put together an entire calendar of events designed to make their campaign fun while stressing the real importance of community.

Basement Systems owner Larry Janesky accepted the award.

Greater Valley Chamber of Commerce

For the third year in a row this individual has been honored for providing the utmost assistance to the chairman.

CVC CORPORATE CITIZEN OF THE YEAR
OCI Chemical Corporation

Maryann Ferrarra accepts on behalf of OCI.

This award has been given for a unique combination of personal philanthropy and hands-on community involvement, as well as outstanding volunteerism through the Council and for running an outstanding United Way campaign.
