Larry Janesky is a very forward thinking business owner. He has built Basement Systems into the leader in their industry and is noted for his out-of-the-box thinking and leadership. Valley United Way has been the beneficiary of support from Basement Systems many times, but this year's campaign was especially interesting.

United Way Board Chair Mike Marcinek, President Jack Walsh and Susan Agamy recently spoke to the employees during a United Way presentation that also included a special thanks for Basement Systems assistance in facilitating Griffin Hospital's food donation earlier this year and the Harvest House III Project.

Larry then took the microphone and spoke about Business System's growth and their involvement with United Way and other worthwhile causes in the In the middle of his remarks, Larry announced that he was giving each of his employees a $100 bonus to do with as they wished - including possibly donating it to the campaign. In these difficult times, that certainly was a tough choice for many employees, but we are very pleased to announce that their campaign has gone from $3,200 last year to $15,256 this year.
