Kate and Geraint Phillips breezed to victory by more than 10 minutes in the Corporate Cup Orienteering event held at Osbornedale State Park. The duo maneuvered around the rugged course like it was a Sunday stroll in a blistering time of 42 minutes and 9 seconds. That was 10 minutes and 13 seconds faster than the second place team of Jeff Roginielewicz and Skander Benayed giving Perkin Elmer the top two places in the event. BIC's David Kimball and Ashley Rydecki finished third with a very respectable time of 57 minutes and 46 seconds which was slightly less than 3 minutes ahead of Griffin Hospital's JoAnn Welsh and Ed Urbanowicz. BIC's Lori Bozza and Al Buechel rounded out the top five.

The participants had to traverse the 2.4 mile course while stopping to find ten different markers along the way. It was the first time in the history of the event that every team was able to find all of the markers.
