Billiards Title to PMT

Eighteen teams competed in the second Billiards Tournament and Plastic Molding Technology Crushers did just that in spotting Bassett's Trim the opening game in the best-of-three finals before sweeping the final two games and the title. Joe Arszyla and Dan Miller topped Birmingham Group Cueless, Gordon Rubber, and Birmingham Group On Cue on their way to the championship. Bassett's toppled Microboard Processing, Birmingham Group Wonder Twins, and Plastic Molding Technologies Right Angles in finishing as runner-up for the second straight year. Ironically both of PMT's teams had been eliminated in the first round a year ago.

The Right Angles tied On Cue for third place in the standings.
