Rifkin Travel Cops Title

Rifkin Travel and TEAM, Inc. #1 waged a tight battle in the championship round of
the Webster Bank Darts Tourney before Rifkin won the third game in the
best-of-three series. The two evenly matched teams topped a field of 23 that began play in the single elimination tourney. Mark Romano and
Chris Teodosio teamed up for the victory in their first try in the
Corporate Cup. TEAM, Inc. Executive Director Rich Knoll teamed with Jeff
Westine for the second place finish. Check

On the road to their win, Teodosio and Romano posted wins over United
Illuminating, Fluidyne "Irish Smilers" and Fluidyne #2 before
knocking off the W. E. Bassett Company in the semi-finals. TEAM posted
wins over the Fluidyne "Folly Floaters", Griffin Hospital #3,
and Gordon Rubber before dispensing with Griffin Hospital #1 in the
semi-finals. Griffin Hospital #1 and W. E. Bassett Company finished tied
for third in the competition which was held in the gymnasium at the
Valley YMCA.
