Each year Valley United Way asks a number of companies to participate in the Annual Community Campaign prior to it’s official kickoff in September. These companies who host their campaign in July & August serve to set the pace and provide momentum. Companies who participate as a pacesetter conduct model campaigns and are exemplary leaders for other companies to follow.

Pacesetters hold a unique and important position in the Annual Community Campaign. With their ability to influence the success of Valley United Way’s Annual Community Campaign we encourage companies to follow these guidelines:

  • Organize and successfully complete their campaign before the Annual Community Campaign Kickoff on September 16th
  • Promote an increase in giving and/or participation from your employee campaign
  • Report all results to Valley United Way no later than one week before the kickoff
