Hard hats are not the norm, but you never know!

Valley United Way's Volunteer Action Center not only matches volunteers with agencies, but it also helps to direct larger group projects in the community. With the cooperation of the Corporate Volunteer Council, the Center has undertaken a variety of major, special projects in the community including the annual events highlighted below. Back to School Clothes 156 children in Ansonia

Coming in September Week of Caring

The Corporate Volunteer Council has selected BGHS Umbrella Program - battered women's shelter as its 2010 Week of Caring project. During the week of September 20-24, over 100 CVC volunteers will join together to rejuvenate the house, with a good cleaning and a fresh coat of paint as well as extensive landscaping. More details will follow soon.
