Valley United Way’s Youth Leadership Program has elected its officers for the 2007-2008 year. Matt Ezzo, a student at Derby High School and Kristyn Hanewitz a student at Seymour High School will serve as Co President’s. Both Matt and Kristyn are excited about their new positions because they are looking forward to working with such a great group of leaders and accomplishing so much. They look forward to seeing their hard work and determination pay off. 

Cody Savoy, a student from Emmett O’Brien Technical High School will serve as Vice President of the Youth Leadership group.  Cody has been a member of the group for four years; he was accepted into the Program as a freshman.  

Sabrina Pratts, a student at Seymour High School will serve as Treasurer. Sabrina is a returning member and begins her new position with experience in serving as Treasurer in numerous clubs and organizations. 

Ewa Januszkiewicz, a student of Ansonia High School is looking forward to serving as Secretary of the Youth Leadership Program.  Ewa is looking forward to serving in this role with her impeccable skill for detail.  

Jay Ghassemzadeh is a junior at Shelton High School and was selected as the Public Relations Leader and has considerable experience in working with clubs and organizations and is presently editor of the Shelton Gaels.
